Bihar: What did Deputy CM Vijay Sinha said in Lalu Yadav's daughter Rohini Acharya case
Bihar Deputy CM Vijay Sinha has responded to Rohini Acharya's decision to leave politics and the allegations leveled against the Lalu family and the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).
He said, "The anarchy of the RJD, which was visible outside, is now visible inside the house as well. How can people with this mentality, who cannot keep their families together, run Bihar?"
Vijay Sinha further said, "First brother, now sister... this mentality will determine their future."
Rohini Acharya announced on Saturday that she was leaving politics. She also accused Sanjay Yadav and Rameez, close associates of Tejashwi Yadav, of being behind her actions.
In another statement, Rohini also accused Tejashwi Yadav.
There has been no statement from the Lalu family on this matter. Meanwhile, RJD's Mrityunjay Tiwari said that this is a family matter and only family members will respond.
Earlier in May, Lalu Prasad Yadav's elder son, Tej Pratap Yadav, was expelled from the party.
Internal strife comes to the fore
Following the crushing defeat in the Bihar elections, the internal strife within the RJD and the Lalu family has now come to the fore. Tensions within the family have escalated to such an extent that Lalu Yadav's daughter, Rohini Acharya, is publicly naming and making serious allegations against Tejashwi Yadav, Sanjay Yadav, and Rameez.
According to sources within the Lalu family, Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi are reportedly unhappy with the functioning of Tejashwi Yadav's core team following the electoral defeat. A heated debate broke out between Tejashwi and Rohini on the afternoon of November 15th over this issue. Rohini Acharya blamed Tejashwi's advisor, Sanjay Yadav, and his team for the RJD's defeat.
