ICC Women World Cup 2025: The Taj city of Agra is eagerly awaiting the return of Deepti Sharma, a key member of the Indian women's cricket team, which has made its mark in the world of one-day cricket for the first time.

Deepti Sharma, a resident of Agra, had a remarkable performance in the World Cup tournament. Winning the Player of the Series award, Deepti not only scored 215 runs throughout the tournament but also took 22 wickets, contributing significantly to her team's victory. She played a brilliant half-century of 58 runs in the final match against South Africa and later destroyed the visiting team's batting order, dismissing them cheaply with five wickets for 39 runs.

Deepti Sharma lives in Awadhpuri Colony. After winning the World Cup, there is an atmosphere of joy in the house. 

Celebrations have been going on at the house since last night. Firecrackers were burst all night and sweets were distributed. A large crowd gathered at Deepti's house that night. Even on Monday morning, a large crowd of people arrived to offer their congratulations.

After the victory, Deepti's mother said, "Deepti performed very well. This was our expectation, and she lived up to the expectations of her country, bringing pride to her. Congratulations to the entire nation, she fulfilled the nation's dream. Congratulations to everyone."

People are greeting Deepti's parents

Deepti is not in Agra, but her family is arriving to offer their congratulations and best wishes. People are honoring Deepti's parents with sweets and garlands. Neighbors and Agra residents celebrated throughout the night. 

Union Minister SP Singh Baghel also arrived late at night to congratulate the family. Deepti Sharma is still in Mumbai. Her family and the people of Agra are awaiting her arrival. It is a matter of pride for the people of Agra that Deepti Sharma has raised the national flag across the world, and preparations are underway for a grand welcome for her. 

According to reports, when Deepti arrives in Agra, a procession will be taken out throughout the city and welcome ceremonies will also be held at various locations. Many big personalities may also attend the welcome.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
