IND vs SA ODI: India defeated South Africa by 17 runs in the first ODI played in Ranchi. In this match, Virat Kohli made history by scoring his 52nd ODI century, becoming the batsman with the most centuries in a single format.

On Sunday, Rohit Sharma broke Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi's record. He achieved the milestone of hitting the most sixes in ODI cricket. Furthermore, the Rohit-Virat pair now also became the pair to have played the most matches for India.

In the 20th over, Rohit Sharma hit a magnificent six off Marco Jansen, becoming the batsman with the most sixes in ODI cricket. With this shot, Rohit broke Shahid Afridi's world record of 351 sixes, setting a new record.

In the Indian innings, Kohli scored his 52nd ODI century, becoming the batsman with the most centuries in a single format. Virat surpassed Sachin Tendulkar, who has 51 centuries in Test format.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
