Mathura: First Registry for Shri Banke Bihari Temple Corridor Construction Executed; how this corridor will maintain ancient divinity of Vrindavan?
Mathura: Taking a significant step towards the construction of the grand and divine 'Shri Banke Bihari Temple Corridor' in Vrindavan, the city of Lord Krishna, the first land registry was successfully completed on Friday.
The path for the corridor's construction has been cleared through the joint efforts of the high-level management committee constituted on the orders of the Supreme Court and the district administration. This project will not only simplify darshan (viewing of the deity) but will also take the development of the entire Braj region to new heights.
For the construction of the Shri Banke Bihari Temple Corridor, a part of property number 25 (69.26 square meters) in the Bihari Pura area was registered in favor of the Tehsildar Sadar. Yati Goswami, Abhilash Goswami, and Aniket Goswami willingly executed the sale deed of their land for this auspicious work.
This first registry, made possible by the efforts of District Magistrate Chandra Prakash Singh and Additional District Magistrate Dr. Pankaj Kumar Verma, marks the beginning of realizing the vision of the corridor's construction.
The high-powered committee includes representatives from the administration, police, archaeology department, and the Goswami community, under the chairmanship of Justice (Retd.) Ashok Kumar. The committee has held meetings with the temple's Goswamis, sevayats (priests), traders, and local people, incorporating everyone's suggestions into the plan.
Corridor will give a new identity to the cultural heritage of Braj
This corridor will maintain the ancient divinity of Vrindavan while fulfilling modern needs. This grand construction will give a new identity to the cultural heritage of Braj on the global stage and will make the path of darshan easier for the devotees of Thakur Ji (Lord Krishna). The proposed corridor will include a safe environment for devotees, seating arrangements, drinking water facilities, and easy entry and exit gates, which will reduce the pressure of crowds in the narrow lanes.
Corridor will promote religious tourism
The construction of the corridor is expected to lead to a significant increase in the number of devotees and tourists in Vrindavan. This will promote religious tourism in the region, which will directly benefit the local economy. The opening of new hotels, restaurants, and shops will create new employment opportunities for local youth. The committee has also announced that those who voluntarily provide their land for the corridor first will be given priority in the facilities provided in the future.
Corridor will also cater to the needs of modern pilgrims
Until now, devotees faced considerable difficulties and security risks due to the narrow lanes of Vrindavan. After the construction of the corridor, darshan (viewing) of Shri Banke Bihari Ji will become much easier. This project will not only preserve the historical identity of Vrindavan but also cater to the needs of modern pilgrims. The district administration has appealed to the people to cooperate in this sacred endeavor so that the glory of Braj shines even brighter on the global stage.
