MP Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has stated that, through the implementation of the Madhya Pradesh Aviation Policy 2025, the expansion of air services across the country is being carried out in a systematic manner. It is under the ambit of this very policy that the air service connecting Rewa to Raipur is being launched. Furthermore, the approval for flights from Jabalpur to Kolkata and from Indore to Abu Dhabi has also been made possible through this policy.

CM Dr. Yadav was virtually addressing the inauguration ceremony of the Alliance Air flight—operating three days a week from Rewa to Raipur—from the Mantralaya (Secretariat) in Bhopal on Tuesday. Dr. Yadav remarked that, in the near future, work on the expansion of the Rewa Airport will be undertaken, which will prove beneficial for the entire Vindhya region. Connecting the Vindhya region—a territory of immense historical and cultural significance—to the neighboring state of Chhattisgarh via air routes will be pivotal for fostering both prosperity and cultural development.

CM Dr. Mohan Yadav extended his congratulations to the residents of the Vindhya region on the commencement of the flight service from Rewa to Raipur. He described this as a significant milestone in the state's aviation sector.

CM said that over the past two years, four major developments have taken place. In 2024, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the airport in Rewa, simultaneously launching the air service connecting Rewa to Delhi. Subsequently, last year, the air service from Rewa to Indore was launched. Today, the air service connecting Rewa to Raipur is being inaugurated.

Excellent Work Underway in Madhya Pradesh's Aviation Sector: Naidu

Participating virtually from New Delhi in the launch ceremony of the new air service, Union Minister for Civil Aviation Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu remarked that commendable work is being undertaken in Madhya Pradesh to enhance facilities within the aviation sector. Union Minister Naidu congratulated CM Dr. Mohan Yadav on this achievement.

Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla, along with other public representatives, were present at the launch ceremony of the air service in Rewa. Numerous public representatives were also present at Khajuraho Airport, where they joined the event virtually.
