MP Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla stated that the White Tiger Safari located in Mukundpur holds a distinct identity both within the state and across the country. The newly established Reptile House here represents a significant step towards wildlife conservation, the promotion of biodiversity, and the enhancement of environmental awareness. He added that efforts would be made to develop the Maharaja Martand Singh Safari into a medium-sized zoological park.

Shukla was addressing the inauguration ceremony of the Reptile House, situated within the Maharaja Martand Singh Judeo White Tiger Safari in Mukundpur (Maihar district), on Saturday. The event was presided over by Satna MP Ganesh Singh.

Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla inspected the Reptile House and observed the various species of reptiles housed within the facility. He noted that all ongoing works at the Mukundpur Safari have now been completed. As part of future plans, the safari is slated for expansion across an additional 100 hectares of land. He further remarked that the establishment of an airport in Rewa would provide a significant boost to tourism in the Vindhya region, ushering in a new era of tourism development in the area.
