His visit on Saturday is considered to be of immense significance, as he aims to build momentum in favor of the party by holding a series of public meetings and roadshows across three districts, spanning from the north to the south of the state.
According to the scheduled itinerary, the Chief Minister will first address a public meeting at 12:00 PM in the Mathabhanga Assembly constituency of Cooch Behar district. Here, he will interact with the public to garner support for BJP candidate Nisith Pramanik. The party is striving to consolidate its foothold in this border region, and Yogi's meeting is viewed as a crucial step in this direction.
Subsequently, the Chief Minister will proceed to the Dhupguri Assembly constituency in Jalpaiguri district, where he will hold a public meeting at 1:20 PM in support of BJP candidate Naresh Chandra Roy. The party is placing a special focus on further strengthening the lead it secured in North Bengal during the previous elections.
In the final leg of the day's engagements, Yogi will arrive in Bankura, where he will conduct a roadshow at 4:15 PM in support of BJP candidate Niladri Sekhar Dana. In this pivotal district within the 'Jangalmahal' region, this roadshow is being viewed as a show of strength, and extensive preparations have been undertaken at the local level to ensure its success.
According to party sources, the massive crowds thronging Yogi Adityanath's recent rallies have infused a renewed sense of enthusiasm among the party cadres.
