Online Registration for Madhya Pradesh Tourism Quiz-2026 Open Till This Date: Students to Discover State's Rich Heritage
The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board is organizing the 'Tourism Quiz-2026' to familiarize students with the state's rich history, traditions, historical heritage, cultural diversity, art, natural wealth, and immense tourism potential. Schools can register online for this district-level quiz from July 1 to July 25, 2026 (until 5:30 PM) via the official website: https://www.mptourism.com/tourismquiz2026/schools/.
Students studying in classes 9 through 12 across all government, private, CBSE, and Kendriya Vidyalayas in the state are eligible to participate in this quiz, which aims to foster a learning mindset through tourism and disseminate knowledge regarding the state's tourism prospects.
District-Level Quiz "Bujho Jano Phir Dekho Apna Pradesh" on August 7
The district-level event for the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Quiz-2026, titled "Bujho Jano Phir Dekho Apna Pradesh" (Guess, Learn, and Then See Your State), will be held simultaneously across all districts of the state on August 7, 2026.
Questions in the quiz will cover Madhya Pradesh's tourism, art, culture, religious and natural environments, and historical heritage.
The district-level competition will be conducted in two stages. In the second stage, an 'audio-visual/multimedia'-based quiz will be held for the top six teams selected based on the written examination in the first stage. The school team securing the first position at the district level will represent the district in the state-level quiz.
24,489 students participated enthusiastically in 2025
The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department has been successfully organizing an annual tourism quiz since 2016 (with the exception of the 2020-21 period due to the COVID-19 pandemic). The 2025 edition of the tourism quiz witnessed unprecedented enthusiasm from students, with 24,489 participants and 8,163 schools registering their students. This remarkable level of participation reflects the growing interest among students in the state's rich cultural and natural heritage.
The objective of the Tourism Quiz 2026 is to familiarize students with Madhya Pradesh's historical, cultural, religious, and natural tourist destinations, raise awareness about tourism, and connect them with the state's glorious heritage and tourism potential, ensuring that the future generation becomes acquainted with the state's invaluable treasures.
Winning teams to receive a tourism tour gift
To encourage students towards tourism, the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board will award attractive prizes. The top three winning teams from each district will be given coupons for a complimentary 3-day, 2-night tourism tour at Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (MPSTDC) hotels.
Meanwhile, the next three runner-up teams will receive coupons for a complimentary 2-day, 1-night tour. Under these coupons, the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board will bear all expenses—including travel, accommodation, meals, and local sightseeing—enabling students to gain firsthand experience of the state's major tourist destinations.
