Illegal structures outside the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi were demolished using bulldozers late Wednesday night. According to officials, these structures had been erected beyond the High Commission's designated boundary.

The Pakistan High Commission office is located on Shantipath in Delhi's Chanakyapuri area. Structures such as barricades, fencing, and queue management facilities near the visa section were also removed.

This action comes just two days after security barricades and parking poles outside the Indian High Commission in Islamabad were removed.

Structures near the visa section also removed

Relevant agencies carried out the operation outside the High Commission using JCB machines. Photos from the site showed broken railings, gates, iron frames, roofing sheets, and scattered pieces of brick and concrete. The white metal fencing on the exterior and some corrugated roofing were also dismantled.

No damage to the main gate or building

The bulldozer operation did not extend to the High Commission's main building. The main gate, white walls, and the large entrance bearing the Pakistani emblem remained intact. Barbed wire was also visible in some parts of the premises.

Following the demolition, the service counters of the visa section were exposed. Signs reading 'Window 1', 'Pakistan Passport Only', and 'Window-5 / Collection of Visa Applications' were visible. Broken fencing and construction debris lay scattered around the counters.
