Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company to train 559 youth under Mukhyamantri Seekho-Kamao Yojana: learn how you can apply?
Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited (MPPGCL) has announced 559 on-the-job training positions under the 'Mukhyamantri Seekho-Kamao Yojana' (Chief Minister's Learn-Earn Scheme). This initiative offers youth the opportunity to gain practical experience in the power generation sector. The one-year training program aims to equip eligible candidates with industry-relevant skills while providing a monthly stipend.
This initiative is designed for young individuals who have completed Class 12, ITI, a diploma, or graduation and wish to enhance their employability through practical training. Selected candidates will gain hands-on experience at the company's headquarters in Jabalpur as well as at various hydro and thermal power plants across Madhya Pradesh.
The training program covers a wide range of job categories, including Electrician, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and System Maintenance, Computer Operator and Programming Assistant, Hindi and English Stenography, Civil Engineering, Human Resources, Accounts, and various other technical and administrative fields. This will enable trainees to understand the operations of power generation facilities and gain valuable workplace experience aligned with their educational qualifications.
Candidates selected through the online application process will undergo one year of practical training. Upon completing the first month of training, they will begin receiving a monthly stipend ranging from ₹8,000 to ₹10,000, based on eligibility criteria under the scheme.
To apply, candidates must be residents of Madhya Pradesh and aged between 18 and 29 years. The required educational qualifications vary depending on the chosen training category, ranging from Class 12 to graduation.
The online application process commenced on September 23, 2026, and eligible candidates can submit their applications until 11:59 PM on October 15, 2026. Applications must be submitted via the online portal of the 'Mukhyamantri Seekho-Kamao Yojana'. Applicants are required to possess a Samagra ID and must complete Aadhaar e-KYC prior to registration.
