Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat on October 30 and 31, 2026. During this visit, he will launch development projects, disburse financial assistance to farmers, and participate in events marking the 151st birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
On October 30, the Prime Minister will visit the 'Bharat Bovine Breeding and Research Centre' (BBBRC) in Banaskantha. Following this, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for projects worth over Rs 14,000 crore. He will also release Rs 19,000 crore as the 24th installment of the PM-Kisan scheme and flag off two train services: the Ahmedabad (Sabarmati)–Varanasi Express and the Mehsana–Becharaji–Sabarmati MEMU.
Spanning 127 acres, the BBBRC will focus on improving cattle breeds—specifically the indigenous 'Kankrej' breed—through advanced breeding techniques. Prime Minister Modi will also launch initiatives related to two bio-CNG plants, enhanced railway connectivity, road infrastructure, and child-friendly Anganwadi centers. Additionally, 521 agricultural infrastructure projects, worth approximately Rs 4,950 crore, will be dedicated to the nation.
On October 30, PM Modi will inaugurate 'Bharat Parv 2026' in Ekta Nagar. This festival will showcase India's cultural diversity through traditional performances, regional cuisine, handicrafts, and tourism attractions. He will also witness the 'Ekta Prakash Parv,' which will feature a spectacular lighting display celebrating India's heritage and unity.
On October 31, Modi will pay tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at the 'Statue of Unity' and inaugurate or dedicate to the nation development projects worth over Rs 400 crore in Ekta Nagar. These include water and sewage treatment facilities, tourism infrastructure, improvements to the Narmada Ghat, and other civic amenities.
The day will conclude with 'National Unity Day' (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) events, featuring a 'Unity Parade', cultural performances, and a special theatrical presentation. This theatrical performance will highlight India's efforts to combat Left-wing extremism and promote peace and development.
This two-day visit will encompass activities such as infrastructure development, support for the agricultural sector, cultural events, and a renewed emphasis on national unity.
