Lok Sabha Election 2024 Madhya Pradesh: Amit Shah’s Remarks About KP Yadav Lead To Speculation; what he said about Muslim Personal Law, UCC


Home Minister Amit Shah visit to Madhya Pradesh : Amidst the ongoing second phase of voting in Madhya Pradesh, the BJP is fervently engaged in its campaign efforts. Even as the second phase proceeds, the BJP, led by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, has already shifted focus towards preparations for the upcoming third phase. 


Today, Shah is slated to address public gatherings at two locations within Madhya Pradesh. Commencing with a public address in Ashoknagar, Shah made significant remarks regarding the current Guna MP KP Yadav, sparking heightened discussions within political circles.


Shah, speaking at the public rally in support of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, the candidate for the Guna Lok Sabha seat, declared, "The people of Guna will have the privilege of two leaders: Jyotiraditya Scindia and KP Yadav." 


He assured, "KP Yadav has earned victory in this constituency. He has worked tirelessly for me. Leave any concerns regarding KP to me. Now, it's our responsibility to propel KP Yadav forward."


Could KP Yadav Be Given Significant Responsibilities Post-Polls


On the day Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia was announced as the BJP candidate for the Guna Lok Sabha seat, speculation regarding the future of the incumbent MP Yadav began. However, today, Amit Shah has provided clarity on these speculations.


Shah subtly hinted that KP Yadav is poised to assume a significant role, sparking speculation among political analysts that the party may have a strategic agenda for him. There's a likelihood that he might be entrusted with a major responsibility within Madhya Pradesh. 


Shah affirmed, "KP Yadav has been a dedicated worker of the region. Trust me with any concerns regarding him." He assured the people of Guna that they will have two leaders to count on: Scindia and KP Yadav. Shah's statement triggered heightened discussions in political spheres.


Cong wants to bring Muslim Personal Law, BJP will implement UCC: Shah


Amit Shah slammed Congress, targeting their manifesto. He asserted that the Congress advocates for the adoption of Muslim Personal Law if they assume power, a notion he vehemently opposes. Shah emphasized that the Uniform Civil Code would prevail in the nation, dismissing any allowance for the Muslim Personal Law. Highlighting the implementation of the UCC in Uttarakhand as a testament to their commitment, he pledged to extend it nationwide.


Shah underscored the priority of resources for the Tribal, Dalit, poor, and OBC communities.  He said they have the first right on the resources of this country. Congress party has always been an anti-OBC party. 


Shah further said, "Scindia Maharaj is your candidate in this election, and Modi ji has special affection for Scindia. That is why you all should ensure he wins the elections with a huge majority."
