Lok Sabha Elections-2024: Bhopal Modi-fied: Historic welcome accorded to PM Modi in MP capital


Lok Sabha Elections-2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held meetings in three cities in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday, including a mega road show in Bhopal. First of all, PM Modi reached Sagar, then held a rally in Harda and lastly in the evening, he held a road show in Bhopal, the capital of MP.


PM Modi was accorded an unprecedented welcome by the people of Bhopal during his grand road show in the city that commenced from Old Vidhan Sabha, Malviya Nagar.


Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Bhopal's BJP candidate Alok Sharma accompanied the PM. BJP State chief VD Sharma was also present.



PM waved to the cheering crowd while moving in an open jeep during the road show. He held a symbol of lotus in his hands. With this he made an appeal to the people to vote and support BJP.


Devotees from Baba Bateshwar Bhakt Mandal joined the welcoming ceremony at the revered Badwale Mahadev Temple in Bhopal with 'dhol', 'damrus' and more musical instruments.


Similarly, Baiga community performed folk dance to greet the Prime Minister.


A massive crowd gathered to witness Prime Minister Narendra Modi's grand roadshow. People from all over thronged the streets, eagerly waiting for Modi's arrival. Traffic routes were diverted to make travel easier for the public.



PM Modi's 1.2 km roadshow commenced from Malviya Nagar intersection. It concluded at Nanke Petrol Pump.


To welcome PM Modi, the city of Bhopal, famous for its historical figures Raja Bhoj and Queen Kamalapati, was bustling with excitement. Residents eagerly waited for the arrival of Narendra Modi.
