Eleventh Anniversary of 26/11


Today is the 11th anniversary of 26/11, the biggest terror attack in the country. On 26 November 2008, ten Pakistani terrorists terrorized the entire country including Mumbai. 166 people were killed and more than 300 were injured in this fierce terrorist attack.

One of the worst terrorist attacks in the history of the country, this attack was carried out by heavily armed terrorists who were sent from Pakistan. Nine terrorists were killed by security forces in an encounter with Indian security forces. A terrorist named Ajmal Kasab was caught alive, who was later hanged for his heinous crimes.

The attackers entered Mumbai via boat from Karachi. It was around eight o'clock at night when the attackers landed at the fish market of the Cuffe Parade near Colaba. From there, they split into four groups and took taxis and turned to their destination.

The terrorist organization that carried out this attack in Mumbai was Lashkar-e-Taiba. 10 attackers carried out the attack with automatic modern weapons and grenades. After the attack, a terrorist Ajmal Kasab was caught alive. Charges were proved against him in 3 months. A year later, David Coleman Headley, who was involved in the attack, admitted his crime on 18 March 2010. Kasab was hanged on 21 November 2012.
