Udhav Government Win Majority In The House

According to the reports coming in Udhav Thackeray government have proved their majority in the assembly today and has been telecast live on the television screen to maintain the transparency in the voting. 

Udhav have very smoothly got the majority with 169 MLA’s voted in support of his government.  While four members remained neutral and didn’t voted.  

And now after getting votes from the MLA’s now the Maharashtra government has proved their majority.

Now there will be voting for the speaker and to avoid cross voting speaker election will also be aired live to maintain transparency.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
