Is Sonia Factor Helpful For Congress

As reported earlier Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan assembly election goes to Rahul Gandhi, because this election was fought and won while Rahul Gandhi was the president.  But after the crushing defeat in the Lok Sabha elections, Rahul Gandhi resigned from his post of party president.  

After which Sonia Gandhi became the president, after Sonia became the president, the Congress performed well in Maharashtra and Jharkhand.

Talking about Haryana assembly elections, Sonia Gandhi was made the interim president after Rahul Gandhi resigned from the post.  As a result of which the Congress performed better in Haryana but the Congress could not reach the seat of power and BJP formed the government with Dushyant Chautala. 

After this, the election of Maharashtra assembly came in and in Maharashtra Assembly elections Congress performed at par as compared to the last assembly elections of 2014. 

Now the performance of the Congress in Jharkhand is not good, but when it comes to the Congress alliance, the performance was bumpy because here the Congress alliance has defeated the BJP and won close to 45 seats.

It is now being discussed in the political corridors that Sonia Gandhi graph has been steadily increasing since becoming the president of Congress party. 

 

In 2017, saffron color was seen on the map of the country, but now the saffron color is continuously coming down from the map of the country.  In 2014, the BJP had power in 7 states, held 9 states in 2015, after which the BJP broke the record by capturing 11 states in 2016, again in 2017, the BJP captured six states.  After which the BJP-ruled state increased to 19 in 2018.  That is, in 2017, the BJP's graph was 71 percent across the country, which is now 40 percent.
