After the deaths of children in Kota and Gujarat in Rajasthan, now the cases of deaths of children is coming up in Shahdol in Madhya Pradesh. About 6 newborns have died here in 12 hours.
The administration and government have been stirred up after the death of six children together in the hospital premises. Relating to the matter, the health minister of the Madhya Pradesh government, Tulsi Silavat has ordered an inquiry into the incident. Also, Panchayat Minister Kamleshwar Patel visited the hospital to review the situation.
According to reports, maximum number of children have died in Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh. According to statistics, a total of 79 children have died in Bhopal's Hamidia Hospital and JP Hospital in the month of December and 952 total children have died in both hospitals from 1 January to 31 December.
The figures of children mortality rate is more alarming and it needs proper follow up from the government sector agencies.
