Situation Worsens In Maharashtra And Kerala In COVID-19 Cases

Latest reports are coming in in the cases of Corona virus in indian states.

As per report just now coming in Maharashtra has recorded 97 cases till now. These are the higher number of cases as reported earlier

Kerala on the other hand is also top the country in Corona virus cases as till now total reported number of the cases in Kerala is 95. While 4 persons have been discharged from the hospital 95 as still under treatment.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
