Maharashtra Home Minister Version On Palghar Incidence

Maharashtra Home Minister in a statement issued in Palghar incident has said that a special IG level officer now has been investigating the Palghar incidence case.

According to the Home Minister police has also worked hard as it had arrested 101 people within 8 hours of the incidence in the Palghar case.  

the government will be shortly releasing the names of all the accused in the Palghar case in a short while from now.  According to the home minister of state there has been no Muslim names in the list.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
