Reports are coming in that Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday sad that he is deeply grateful as India got membership of United nation security council. He also so sad that India will work with all member countries to promote global peace ,security ,resilence and equity.
India garnered 184 votes out of 192 in the general assembly to win the election for non permanent seat in powerful security council.
India will begin to year term on January 1, 2021. It is the eighth time that India will said at UN hi table which comprises of 5 permanent member and 10 non permanent member.
