Pregnant Elephant Murdered In Kerala

Reports have been coming in from Malappuram district in Kerala.  

This place is infamous for these type of incidences poor animals are murdered. 

Very often people who live here throw poison on roads so that 300 to 400 birds and dogs die at once. 

The same incident happened this time but it happened to the poor helpless pregnant elephant who died eating pineapple filled with firecrackers. 

The incident took two deaths instead of one.  In this incidence the mother elephant and her baby elephant were killed.

After the news of the death of the elephant came before the administration.  The higher officials became active and reported the matter.  

Investigations are on to nap the culprits and FIR has been lodged.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
