U.K. Business Secretary Alok Sharma Tested For Coronavirus.

UK Business Secretary Britain's Indian origin Alok Sharma (52) tested for Novel Coronavirus after he was feeling unwell.


 He was seen feeling uneasy and sweating during a debate on Corporate Insolvency and Governance Bill in parliament on Wednesday.


He has been tested for coronavirus and is returning home to self isolate.


If Sharma result of coronavirus came positive then anyone in his proximity within 2 metres for more than 15 minutes would have to self isolate for two weeks as per UK government current guidelines.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
