Seven People Killed In Severe Accident In Chattisgarh

Recent reports coming in from Raipur Chhattisgarh where a severe accident has occurred killing seven people.  

As reports coming in seven people were killed and other seven have been injured after a bus they were traveling and transporting labourers from Ganjam in Odisha to Surat in Gujarat collided with a truck at Cheri Khedi in Raipur, early morning today.

This accident is being reported by Ajay Yadav, SSP Raipur, Chhattisgarh.  The accident was so severe that the truck in which the labours were being transported was destroyed beyond recognition.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
