Hardeep Singh Minister Of Civil Aviation Shares Numbers On Passengers Travelling By Air

Reprots have been coming in from Civil Aviation Ministry where Hardeep Singh Civil Aviation Ministry is sharing media with passengers status on domestic and international flights.

As per reports coming in the Civil Aviation Minister has said that with regard to the number of daily domestic air passengers, the figure on 2nd and 3rd October, 2020 was 1,76,000. 

The Minister also added that now it's our assessment, by the end of this month, we'll be at 2,00,000. Between Diwali and the year's end, we will reach 3,00,000.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
