Many Trains And Flights Delayed As Dense Fog Covers Many Parts Of Northern India

Reports have been coming in from Indian Meteorological Department which has stated that many parts of Northern India has been suffering from dance for and because of that many parts of Northern India is having zero visibility resulting to delayed in trains and flights.

As per reports coming in dense to very dense fog has been observed in many pockets over Punjab


The dense fog is also reported in isolated pockets over east UP.  Moderate to dense fog observed in isolated pockets over Haryana, Saurashtra, Kutch and north Rajasthan.

As per Indian Meteorological Department shallow to moderate fog in a few pockets over Delhi and west UP.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
