Unidentified thugs attacked a woman in the face with a knife at Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh. The woman said she found 118 stitches on her face.
The incident happened in the TT Nagar area of Bhopal. The victim is working with a doctor. Yesterday, the woman had gone to the market with her husband to do some work.
According to reports when the woman's husband was on his way to the store to fetch water, some corrupt individuals approached a woman standing next to a bicycle and began to speak for her.
After tolerating their conduct for a while, the woman became angry and slapped one of the perpetrators. When the crowd reunited after hearing the argument between the woman and the accused, the perpetrators fled.
Later, when the woman came out of the market on her bicycle with her husband, one of the thugs followed her and struck the woman in the face with a sharp object, causing a blow from the forehead to the right ear above the left eye.
Meanwhile, DCP Sai Krishna said two unknown perpetrators were booked under Section 324.
The woman was in hospital at the time of registration, so it is not known how much she was injured. He said the investigation was ongoing and the perpetrators would soon be arrested.
