Principal Arrested for Harassing Girls at Jharkhand School!

Jharkhand police on Saturday arrested a private school principal for sexually abusing female students.
Chaibasa police said seven female students, who were staying at the school hostel, had complained to the principal.

In the victims' complaint, Chaibasa police began operating and arrested the alleged principal.

"A private school principal has been arrested on charges of molesting young girls. Seven students were complaining about him. All the victims were living in a school hostel," Chaibasa police said.

Police also said the suspect was sent to custody.

Further investigations into the matter are ongoing.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
