The biggest supermoon of 2022 will appear tonight.

Tonight is the biggest Supermoon of 2022. This year will see a total of four full Supermoons, with the third visible this week. According to NASA, the next supermoon should occur on August 12.
Supermoons occur when a full moon is within 90 percent of perigee, or the point where the moon is closest to Earth in its orbit. This celestial phenomenon causes the Moon to appear larger and brighter than usual.

The supermoon will be visible on Wednesday, July 13, and will be visible for the next three days, NASA said. People around the world will be able to see it until Friday morning.

July's supermoon is also called the Buck Supermoon because that's when bucks or bucks grow new antlers from their foreheads. These deer shed antlers every year, which grow back. Supermoon is also named as Thunder moon because frequent thunderstorms are witnessed around this early summer.
