Melbourne: India won the biggest match of T-20 World Cup 2022. beat Pakistan by 4 wickets. Hero was Virat Kohli, who played an unbeaten innings of 82 runs. India had lost 4 wickets for 31 runs at one stage. Partnered 113 with Hardik. When 16 runs were needed in the last over, it was Kohli who ensured the victory for the team by hitting a sixer on a no ball. He was adjudged man of the match.
Virat Kohli was a loss of words after his match-winning knock at the MCG. "It's surreal; I have no words. I have no idea how that happened. I am really lost for words!" he tells Ravi Shastri as he is named man of the match.
"Hardik believed we could do it if we stayed till the end, he kept pushing me."
Pakistan had given a target of 160 to India. This was the biggest total of an India-Pakistan match played in the World Cup.
