Rajasthan: Will Sachin Pilot Now Consider Joining BJP?

Jaipur: The politics of Rajasthan has boiled up even before entry of Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra in the desert state Rajasthan. There is a controversy over the latest statement of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, in which he gave a statement that Sachin Pilot was a traitor and could not become the Chief Minister.

What statement was given by Gehlot: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that Sachin Pilot did not enjoy support of even ten MLAs. Gehlot gave this interview in a private TV channel interview. Gehlot said that at the time of Sachin's rebellion, those fourteen days were very difficult for the party workers and MLAs. We even had to stage a sit-in outside the Governor's House. Sachin has betrayed the party.

Gehlot said Pilot cannot replace him as he had revolted against the party in 2020 and tried to topple his own government.

Gehlot said the MLAs will never accept a person who has revolted against the party and the government. Gehlot also said he had proof that Rs 10 crore each were distributed to the MLAs holed up in a Gurugram resort for toppling the Congress government in Rajasthan.

Pilot rebuts the charge: Pilot, who walked alongside Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Madhya Pradesh on Thursday, said Gehlot's remarks were false. He it was unbecoming of a senior and experienced leader like him to use such language.

When did the pilot become a rebel: Sachin Pilot rebelled from the party in 2020 along with 19 of his supporting MLAs. Sachin Pilot reached a hotel with his MLAs. After Scindia joined BJP, Pilot also became a rebel. But that rebellion weakened in front of a senior leader like Ashok Gehtol. The MLAs deserted Sachin and after his return, Sachin Pilot was also removed from the post of Deputy Chief Minister.

Ashok Gehlot has also shown rebellious attitude: Recently, the name of Ashok Gehlot was at the forefront of the race for the National President. At that time, the high command sent an observer and wanted to know the opinion of the legislators for the next chief minister.

The Gehlot camp feared that the high command might hand over the chief minister's command to Sachin Pilot. Therefore Ashok Gehlot and some MLAs of his camp acted like rebels before the observers. However, then Ashok Gehlot's name dropped out of the race for the post of National President.

Will Pilot go to BJP alone?: Now the politics has heated up with the latest statement of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. But after this, once again the question has arisen that can be a big rebellion in the Rajasthan Congress. Will Sachin Pilot move to BJP with his supporters. Will Sachin again become a rebel and join the BJP? The reason for this is that even after two years of rebellion, Sachin Pilot is working only as an MLA without any post.
