Twitter's New Boss Elon Musk May Lay Off Half Of Old Employees; Staff Asked To Work 12 Hours A Day

New Delhi: After taking over the reins of Twitter, Elon Musk has been throwing out old employees from the company. As soon as he became the owner of Twitter, he first showed the way out to CEO Parag Agrawal. It is now being said that Elon Musk is preparing to lay off 3,000 more employees. According to reports, Musk wants to lay off half of Twitter's employees from the company. These employees can be fired from the company at the end of this week.

Work 12 hours every day: Elon Musk is very strict with the old employees of Twitter. He has implemented a rule for the company's engineers to work 12 hours daily.

According to media reports, Musk also wants to change Twitter's existing work from anywhere policy. Musk may ask Twitter employees to return to office. He has done the same with Tesla. A few months ago, Musk told Tesla employees to either come to the office or leave.

Musk denies layoff reports: However, Musk rubbished reports of layoffs in response to a question from a user on Twitter. However, people do not trust Musk's words. Even earlier, Musk had fired CEO Parag Agarwal and 4 senior executives from the company despite refusing to do so.

Remote work not acceptable: Earlier, Musk had mailed Tesla employees with the subject line 'remote work will no longer be accepted'. Musk had said: 'Whoever wants to work from a remote location, now he will have to come to the office for at least 40 hours a week and work. If this does not happen, then he will have to leave Tesla.' So far nothing has been said in the case of Twitter. But Musk can issue this decree anytime.
