Sawai Madhopur (Rajasthan): Bharat Jodo Yatra in Rajasthan has reached Sawai Madhopur district on the eighth day. Bharat Jodo Yatra was dedicated only to women today, but due to huge crowd after the start of the yatra, Mahila Shakti Padyatra was mixed, now male yatris and women are walking together.
Message of women empowerment: Priyanka Gandhi, her husband Robert and daughter Miraya are also accompanying Rahul Gandhi in Bharat Jodo Yatra. Bharat Jodo Yatra resumed from the neighboring Bundi district on Monday which is being observed as a day to spread the message of women empowerment.
Sachin Pilot's supporters are carrying his cutouts: At the same time, during the journey, supporters of Sachin Pilot are carrying his cutouts. During the journey, his supporters shouted slogans in support of Pilot.
Rahul Gandhi's yatra is now in an area with a large number of Sachin Pilot's supporters. The number of Pilot supporters in the yatra has also started increasing. Pilot supporters can be seen and heard raising slogans in his favor during the yatra. The effect of the ongoing political tussle between CM Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot can also be seen.
Women arrived from surrounding districts: Women from nearby districts have arrived to participate in the Bharat Jodo Yatra. For this, the Congress leaders were given the responsibility of bringing area-wise women to the Padyatra.
Bharat Jodo Yatra is not a magic wand: Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said that Bharat Jodo Yatra is not a magic wand. I have never claimed that it is a magic wand. There is no magic wand. This is a serious endeavour. It is the job of the organization to take it forward, the organization has to follow up this journey. It is the responsibility of the organization to follow up.

Women stood on the roadside to greet the yatris: Rahul Rao, a padyati who has been walking with the yatra right since the beginning on September 7, said, "The Yatra on its 96th day began with the daylong Nari Shakti Pad Yatra at around 6 am from Tejaji Maharaj Temple at Babai village after prayers, singing of national anthem, national song and flag hoisting. A large number of women stood on the roadside to greet the yatris and join the march," he further said.
Yatra will cover 500 km in Rajasthan: The 96th day of the Yatra is dedicated to women empowerment and that is why it is being called Nari Shakti Pad Yatra for Monday, said Yatra state co-coordinator Kapil Yadav. Rajasthan is the only Congress-ruled state where the yatra has entered and will cover about 500 km over 17 days before entering Haryana on December 21.
Weeklong break: Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra will have a week-long break after crossing the Rajasthan-Haryana border. There will be a break in travel from 24th December to 2nd January. Rahul Gandhi can go to the Lok Sabha during the break days of Yatra.
