Congress To Corner Government In Winter Session Of Parliament, Will Raise These Three Big Issues

New Delhi: The Congress party has decided several issues to corner the central government in the winter session of Parliament starting from Wednesday.

Congress held a meeting regarding the winter session of Parliament. Jairam Ramesh told that there was talk on three big issues from the Congress side.
He said that the first issue is that, "For 22 months, there is tension on the border with China and it has not been discussed in the Parliament. The opposition has been trying to have a debate but we have not received any positive response from the government."
"The second issue is the economic situation. Inflation, unemployment, GST. Public assets are being sold to select industrialists."
Jairam Ramesh said, "The figures show that exports are falling. There has been a big fall in rupee against dollar. So we would like to debate on this."
"And the third biggest issue is about our institutions."
Jairam Ramesh said, "Those which are independent institutions, constitutional institutions like media, judiciary, election commission. The government is interfering in their functioning and ending their independence. They are being made a part of Prime Minister and Prime Minister's Office."
Jairam Ramesh said that the Congress party would like a debate on these three big issues.
