Chhattisgarh Assembly Election-2023: Amit Shah's 2 Visits To Poll Bound State Cancelled This Month; What Does This Point To?

Raipur: After BJP's Aarop Patra Launch program on September 2, Union Home Minister Amit Shah's two tours have been cancelled. BJP's Parivartan Yatra in the state was to be flagged off on September 12, but Shah did not arrive. After this he was due to attend a party meeting in Raipur on 22 September but that visit was also cancelled.

Amit Shah had come to Raipur on 2nd September. BJP's Aarop Patra Launch program was held at Sanskriti Bhawan located in Science College. But not even 1500 people turned up for the ptogramme.

Shah had expressed his displeasure in front of the senior leaders present in the program along with the top leadership of BJP.

Shah was scheduled to hold a meeting with local leaders on Sep 22

Shah was scheduled to come to Raipur on 22 September. But his visit was cancelled. He was scheduled to hold a meeting with local leaders at the Bharatiya Janata Party office in Raipur. This important meeting was to be held in view of the assembly elections.

According to party sources, now once again a new schedule will be prepared for this meeting. It is being said that Amit Shah is busy in some programs to be held in Delhi, after which he will give time to this meeting. The state leadership of BJP is not clearly accepting that Shah is angry, but the repeated cancellation of tours is pointing in this direction.

Shah was not happy with performance of some local leaders

Amit Shah had already held a meeting at the state BJP office in July. At that time also the news had come out that Shah was not happy with the performance of the local leaders. He had personally reprimanded some leaders. Then after the rebuke, local leaders suddenly intensified their campaigns and efforts are being made to form a BJP government in the state in the coming time.

But it is also a big truth that Bharatiya Janata Party is weak on many seats, Amit Shah is going to review this. BJP's performance in Chhattisgarh has become a matter of prestige for Amit Shah.

PM Modi will make 2 visits in 4 days

After Shah's displeasure, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has probably taken the command of Chhattisgarh in his hands. He is going to make 2 visits within 4 days. PM Modi will visit Bilaspur on 30 September. After this he will visit Jagdalpur on 3rd October. This will be PM Modi's third and fourth meeting in Chhattisgarh within 3 months.

Earlier, on September 14, Prime Minister Modi had dedicated railway projects worth Rs 6,350 crore to the nation in Raigarh. He also took a public meeting here. In Raipur, on July 7, he gave a gift of Rs 7,600 crore. The Prime Minister's visit is being considered very important in view of the upcoming assembly elections.
