Jaipur: Now assembly elections are near in Rajasthan. The people of the desert state traditionally alternate power between the Congress and the BJP every five years. This time, the Gehlot government of the Congress seems hopeful about changing this tradition, while the BJP sitting in the opposition is confident that this time the tradition of changing the rule will continue and its government will be formed. But if BJP does not soon remove the resentment of senior leader and former CM Vasundhara Raje, then its hopes could be dashed.

Women waiting to throw anti-women Cong govt

BJP leader Vasundhara Raje had said that women in Rajasthan are waiting to overthrow the anti-women Congress government. Giving the example of Mahabharata, Raje had said that like Draupadi, she too was surrounded by Kauravas. But Krishna will save her. Raje also said that she will not leave Rajasthan. She will serve the people of Rajasthan only here.

 

Raje praised PM Modi

In fact, while talking to the media at her residence here, Raje expressed happiness over the passing of the Women's Reservation Bill and praised the country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Meanwhile, Raje organized a meeting of women from across the state at her residence in Jaipur. In which women tied Rakhi on her wrist. Praising PM Modi, Raje said, many thanks to PM Modi for passing the Women's Reservation Bill. 

Dream of nation building will not be fulfilled without women's participation

Raje said that by giving reservation to women, PM Modi has shown that without the participation of women, the dream of nation building will not be fulfilled and will remain incomplete. Vasundhara Raje said that seeing the enthusiasm of women, it is clear that women are going to overthrow the anti-women Congress government. 

Raje said that these Raksha Sutras are strong bonds, they are like a protective shield for her. These threads also have the strength of the women of Rajasthan. This strength will give her the courage to overcome any obstacle. This strength inspires her to work for the people.

'I will serve the people by drawing inspiration from Krishna'

Referring to an excerpt from the Mahabharata, Vasundhara Raje said that when Lord Krishna's finger was hurt, Draupadi tore a piece from her Sari and tied it on his finger. After this Shri Krishna saved her from the Kauravas. 

Raje said she will also serve the people by drawing inspiration from Krishna. She will fight for the rights of every Rajasthani. Raje called upon women to work together to create such a Rajasthan where the daughters of the state can live their childhood without any fear. Where sisters can fulfill their dreams without any hindrance. We have to make such a Rajasthan where our mothers can walk with their heads held high.
