Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who was on Chhattisgarh tour, traveled by train on Monday. He traveled 117 kilometers from Bilaspur to Raipur. During this, he also talked to the passengers about their problems.
Rahul talked to the women hockey players who were travelling in the train. He also asked them about their training and the facilities they were getting.

The player told that I play hockey. Rahul Gandhi asked at which position do you play. Then the player said, I play in the central position. The players also demanded turf in the ground.
After attending the Congress Awas Sammelan held in Bilaspur, Rahul boarded the sleeper coach of Intercity Express from Bilaspur.
He reached Raipur railway station at around quarter to six in the evening. During this time, CM Bhupesh Baghel and in-charge Kumari Selja were also with him in the train.
Rahul traveled in the train like an ordinary passenger and also roamed around and met people and inquired about their problems.
He also bought chocolates and chips for the students. Rahul Gandhi's return train journey from Raipur to Bilaspur was also planned. But his journey was postponed due to train delays.
