Farmers Protest: This Is How Peasants Will March to Delhi on March 6; Rail Roko on March 10

Members of farmer organizations stuck at the Shambhu border of Punjab and Haryana since February 13 have announced a change in their method of reaching Delhi.

Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal told reporters on Sunday that their program of Delhi March is unchanged.

"We have not backed down from it. We have decided on some strategies to pressurize the government," he said.

“Therefore, we have decided that we will increase our strength at all the borders where we are sitting and will try to bring farmers to other borders also,” said Dallewal

Farmer organizations associated with the United Kisan Morcha (non-political) had given a call for a march to Delhi on February 13, but they were stopped by police and paramilitary forces at the Shambhu border.

During this clash, a young farmer Shubhakaran Singh died, after which the program of Delhi March was postponed by the farmer organizations.
