Why is PM Modi's chief economic advisor on target of opposition parties?

V Anantaha Nageswaran, Chief Economic Advisor of the Government of India, is on the target of opposition parties.

Former Finance Minister and Congress leader P Chidambaram has posted on social media site X while commenting on the Chief Economic Advisor.

Chidambaram said, "The most startling confession has been made by the Chief Economic Advisor. He said that the government cannot solve the problem of unemployment. This is shocking.

The Congress leader further wrote, "If that is the official stand of the BJP government, we must boldly tell the BJP to vacate the seat. The Congress has a concrete plan to tackle the issue of unemployment and it will be revealed in its Manifesto."

At the same time, Rajya Sabha MP of All India Trinamool Congress Saket Gokhale wrote that."And finally - the truth of “Modi’s Guarantee” comes out.
