Delhi Police has claimed to stop Aam Aadmi Party leaders outside the party office.
Central Delhi DCP Harsh Vardhan Mandawa said, "I had made complete security arrangements. We stopped him (Kejriwal) outside the Aam Aadmi Party office. We told them that Section 144 is imposed here.
Arvind Kejriwal reached the Aam Aadmi Party office at 12 noon. Before marching towards BJP headquarters, Arvind Kejriwal addressed party workers.
CM Kejriwal accused PM Modi and BJP of running 'Operation Jhadu'. He said that a plan is being made to arrest all their leaders, hence he and AAP leaders are going to court arrest at BJP headquarters today.
Kejriwal said that he will take out a march where the police will stop him. There they will sit on dharna and if they are not arrested within half an hour, it will be the defeat of BJP.
He said, “The Prime Minister has decided to completely destroy and crush the Aam Aadmi Party. For this they have launched Operation Jhadu. A lot of people have told us that the Prime Minister talks about the Aam Aadmi Party.”
“He (PM Modi) said that this Aam Aadmi Party is growing very fast and its works are being discussed and in the coming times, Aam Aadmi Party can be a tough challenge for BJP at the national level. Therefore, the PM believes that this party should be destroyed now so that it does not become a challenge for BJP in future," Kejriwal said.
'Bank accounts of AAP will be seized, party office will be closed'
The Delhi CM said, “Under this Operation Jhadu, big leaders of Aam Aadmi Party have been arrested and more will be arrested. In the coming time, bank accounts of Aam Aadmi Party will be seized. The office of Aam Aadmi Party will be closed, it will be vacated and AAP members will be brought on the road.
“I want to tell the Prime Minister that if he arrests one Kejriwal, thousands of Kejriwals will be born in this country,” he added.
Kejriwal said that after coming to power in 2015, allegations of many types of scams were made but where is the money. He said that allegations of a scam worth thousands of crores are made in the liquor scam but the investigating agencies did not find even a single penny in it.
