Congress leader Salman Khurshid has said that it is not easy to challenge a Prime Minister, but Arvind Kejriwal is doing it.
Whereas Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) leader Sanjay Raut has said that he welcomes this decision of Arvind Kejriwal.
Congress and Shiv Sena (UBT) are part of the India Alliance along with the Aam Aadmi Party.
Salman Khurshid told media, "It is not easy to challenge the current Prime Minister. He (Arvind Kejriwal) is doing this.
"The same sentiment shared by Kejriwal and his colleagues resonates with the public today. He is demonstrating this spirit, which is likely to garner support from many individuals", Khurshid said.
Sanjay Raut told media, "We welcome this step. The government is going to change on June 4. There are reports of intimidation against the opposition. If Kejriwal has proposed a movement, it is considered positive."
Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has said that today at 12 noon he will go to the BJP headquarters and protest with his colleagues.
BJP has alleged that Arvind Kejriwal is silent on the case of Swati Maliwal and Bibhav Kumar and is holding this protest to divert attention.
BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala has questioned Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal as to why he is silent in the case of Bibhav Kumar and Swati Maliwal.
Shahzad Poonawala said, “A Rajya Sabha MP was attacked in the presence of Kejriwal. Instead of responding to that, Arvind Kejriwal is trying to divert the issue.
"Sanjay Singh admitted that Bibhav Kumar misbehaved with Swati Maliwal. What happened that you took a U-turn within 72 hours?"
