MP News: Entrance gate of Bhopal to be built and named after Lord Shri Ram and Lord Shri Krishna


MP News: The entrance gates will be constructed in Bhopal and named after Lord Shri Ram and Lord Shri Krishna. Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav gave this instruction in a review meeting.


CM Yadav also called for an action plan to create entrance gates honoring Raja Bhoj and Raja Vikramaditya, and to prepare entry gates at the state borders. Dr. Yadav emphasized the need for better efforts to inform visitors about the state's culture and religiously significant sites.


CM Dr. Yadav was reviewing the development of religious and tourist places, Shri Ramchandra Path Gaman Trust, and places related to Lord Shri Ram and Lord Shri Krishna, under the Culture and Tourism Department in Mantralaya recently.


Religious tourism to get a boost


CM Dr. Mohan Yadav highlighted the importance of creating a comprehensive strategy to develop tourism and religious sites within the state. He emphasized the necessity of enhancing the appeal and grandeur of these locations, with a focus on expanding the number of sites to boost religious tourism. He suggested to establish an action plan to commemorate Geeta Mahotsav during Geeta Jayanti and Manas Jayanti. 


Locations linked to Shri Ram and Shri Krishna to be developed


CM Mohan Yadav directed officials to pinpoint locations linked to Lord Shri Ram and Lord Shri Krishna and assemble scholars for their development. Acknowledging the consistent rise in tourist arrivals in the state, especially in destinations such as Ujjain, Maihar, Indore, and Chitrakoot, he also urged for improved branding and promotion of other tourist and religious spots.
