Ruckus in Madhya Pradesh assembly over nursing scam, proceedings adjourned; who said what?

Bhopal: The proceedings of Madhya Pradesh assembly were adjourned till Tuesday morning amid the continuous uproar by Congress members over the nursing scam.

Earlier, during the zero hour, due to the continuous demand of the opposition party Congress to discuss this issue through an adjournment motion and the arguments between the two parties, the proceedings of the House were adjourned till 1 pm. When the house assembled, the proceedings were adjourned till tomorrow due to the ruckus again by the opposition.

Congress members arrived wearing white coats

In symbolic protest against this alleged scam, most of the Congress members arrived in the house today wearing white coats like doctors.

During the zero hour, Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar raised the nursing scam and demanded a discussion on it under an adjournment motion. This was supported by other Congress members.

Matter is in the judicial process: Vijayvargiya

At the same time, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya said that this matter is in the judicial process, so it cannot be discussed. Singhar said that he wanted to discuss topics other than the subjects under investigation. This led to arguments and debates between the members of the ruling party Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the opposition party Congress.

Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar, addressing the Congress members, said that there would be more opportunities in the House and the members could discuss on that occasion, but the Congress members were adamant on their demand for discussion on this issue under the adjournment motion.

During this, Congress members also took the name of a minister Vishwas Sarang and made several allegations. The ruling party members opposed this and said that personal allegations cannot be made in this way. Due to this, the House was drowned in uproar and Speaker Tomar adjourned the proceedings of the House till 1 pm.

When the House assembled, the Congress members remained adamant on their demand for discussion on this matter. The opposition members accused the government of running away from the discussion and protecting Minister Sarang. Amidst the continuous uproar, the proceedings of the House were adjourned till tomorrow morning.
