Madhya Pradesh: MPT Amaltas in Pachmarhi is the first hotel run solely by women, CM Mohan Yadav inaugurates


Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that it is a matter of pride for Madhya Pradesh that Hotel Amaltas is being run only by women. This effort reflects our resolve toward the empowerment of women. CM Dr. Yadav was addressing the inauguration programme of ‘MPT Amaltas’ the first hotel run by women in Pachmarhi. CM said that the culture of our country is women-oriented.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed happiness for this unique effort dedicated to Matrushakti in the lap of Satpura. He started the operation of Hotel Amaltas by pressing the remote button. CM Mohan Yadav got acquainted with all the women working for the operation of Hotel Amaltas and encouraged them by giving them gifts as a mark of respect. Security Guard Mala Chaudhary expressed gratitude on behalf of women to CM Dr. Yadav for taking the initiative to provide training and employment to women.



Pachmarhi has a pleasant environment like the Himalayas and Switzerland


CM Mohan Yadav said that our Pachmarhi, situated in the Satpura hills, has a pleasant environment like the Himalayas and Switzerland. The mind fills with joy after coming to Pachmarhi. Sharing his previous tenure and current experience as Chairman of Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation, 


CM said that due to everyone’s efforts, there has been a record increase in the number of tourists in Madhya Pradesh. This year approximately 11 crore tourists have come to the state. Madhya Pradesh includes all the dimensions of tourism like religious tourism, historical heritage-based tourism, wildlife tourism, etc. Therefore, a large number of tourists from the country as well as from abroad are getting attracted to Madhya Pradesh.



Initiative to promote women empowerment: Minister of State Lodhi


Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Tourism, Culture and Religious Trusts and Endowments, Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi said that efforts are being made at various levels to make our glorious state a major tourist destination in the country. 


To promote women empowerment, the Tourism Department has taken the initiative to have the entire operation of Hotel Amaltas done by women employees. For this, 23 local women have been trained and appointed. Responsibilities like manager, housekeeper, receptionist, kitchen staff, food and beverages, gardener, watchman, and chef will also be taken up by women.


Minister of State Lodhi said that Hotel Nilambar Skyline has been renovated to expand the facilities for tourists. In this unit of the corporation, 16 luxury rooms, an excellent dining area, attached modern bathrooms, quality furnishing, and energy-efficient systems have been developed in the rooms

.

Principal Secretary of Tourism and Culture and Managing Director of Tourism Board Sheo Shekhar Shukla said that we are fortunate that this innovation has been done for empowerment of women. 


At the inauguration of Hotel Amaltas, a film focusing on the efforts and achievements of the Safe Tourism Destination for Women Project was screened. Also, local Bundeli folk dance dedicated to Maa Durga was presented.
