Bihar Bandh announced
Amid the protests by students in the BPSC 70th Combined Preliminary Examination question paper leak case, politics has also started. While on one hand the Congress has attacked the state government by sharing the video of the police lathicharge, on the other hand, independent MP Pappu Yadav has also announced a Bihar bandh on January 1 demanding the cancellation of the exam. He alleged that there has been a scam of Rs 500 crore in the question paper leak and students have been pushed into depression.
The exam that students are asking to be cancelled took place on December 13. On the day of the exam, there was ruckus at a center in Patna, where students tore exam papers and damaged property. The students alleged that the exam paper had been leaked. Despite the chaos, the exam was conducted. However, the commission later decided to cancel the exam at that center. A re-examination has been scheduled for January 4, and admit cards for this exam will be issued on December 27.
