All measures to be taken to prevent recurrence of Bhagirathpura Indore waterborne incident: What CM Mohan Yadav said in review meeting?

MP Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held a review meeting in Indore on Wednesday with public representatives and senior officials regarding the waterborne incident that occurred in the Bhagirathpura area in Indore.  Chief Minister Dr. Yadav conducted a detailed review of the incident, the current situation, and the arrangements made so far. He issued clear instructions that such an incident must not recur under any circumstances in the future. He stated that ensuring the supply of clean and safe drinking water to citizens is the government’s highest priority, and any negligence in this regard will invite strict action. Alert in Bhopal after deaths due to contaminated water in Indore; what measures BMC is taking?

Ten deaths have been reported in Bhagirathpura , Indore , due to contaminated water . Following this incident, the Bhopal Municipal Corporation has also become alert. Mayor Malti Rai has ordered all engineers to conduct inspections to determine if contaminated water is being supplied anywhere in the city. Mayor Rai has instructed all sub-engineers, assistant engineers, and supervisors to carry out inspections. She has also directed the Superintending Engineer and Executive Engineer to monitor the situation. Orders have also been given to submit reports after the inspections. It is worth noting that the Municipal Corporation receives several complaints related to sewage every day. ​​There are fears that sewage might be mixing with the drinking water supply .
