According to the family of victims from Maihar, the priest raped the three sisters in the pretext of puja in the name of removing 'Kaal Sarp Dosh' from three real sisters.
When the family came to know of 'Kaal Sarp Dosh' in the daughters' horoscope, then they decided to offer prayers. Family members talked to a priest. And the date for worship was fixed on 9 December.
A room was chosen for worship, in which complete preparations were made. All the items of worship were decorated in the room and all the people of the house were asked to stay out of the room. After which the priest asked the three girls one by one to come in. When the girls went in, the priest showed them fear of Kaal Sarp Dosh, fear of being bad with the family. Then, under the disguise of all this, the three girls were raped alternately. After the priest left, all three daughters told this to their family. The next day the father of the girls reached the police station with them and lodged a complaint against the priest. Police has registered a case against the accused and arrested the accused.
