Thai Soldier Killed 20 And Injured 30 Others In Random Firing

A Thai soldier killed at least 20 people in a shooting spree in the city of Nakhon Ratchasima on Saturday. 

According to reports coming in the wounded have yet to be asertained. The gunmen had also taken into hostage around 20 persons inside the Shopping Mall.  

The suspect is still.at large after the attack.  Shooter had also posted a live video on Facebook if before and during the rampage.  In the live video one can easily see the building burning.

CCTV footage from inside the mall shows the gunman dressed in black and wearing maskwith his gun slung over his shoulder

Local media shows him getting out of the car outside the Mall.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
