Delhi Chief Minister Will Sought Permission For Plasma Therapy On Serious Patients

In a press release by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said that the central government has given Delhi government permission to conduct plasma therapy and some of the serious patients at LNJP Hospital.

The permission was given only for a limited number of trials on serious patients in Delhi.

However Delhi Chief Minister has said that some more trials will be conducted in the next two or three days and then the permission will be soughted next week for all serious patients.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
