US Department Of Defence And Indian Defence Minister Concluding Submit Ends Today

Reports have been coming in from  US Department of Defence where the basic exchange and cooperation agreement conclusion from New Delhi is held between India and US.  

In the submit Secretary Esper and Minister Rajnath Singh commended the conclusion of the Basic Exchange and Cooperation Agreement during the visit.  The delegates from both the countries welcomed the expansion of information-sharing.

US Secretary of Defence Mark Esper and Union Defence Minister of India Rajnath Singh applauded the strength of defense relationship between United States and India.

The Ministers from both the countries reinforced their commitment to deepening military-to-military cooperation.

According to Dhruva Jaishankar, Director of US initiative at Observer Research Foundation, in Washington the timing (of India-US 2+2 dialogue) is significant as it's last one before US Presidential election. 

According to the Dhruv Jaishankar significance will be seen in number of defence agreements signed,most notably BECA. 

There's greater alignment of interest between US and India to some extent it has to do with China. 

According to Dhruva Jaishankar, Director of US initiative at ORF it's not only about China, there is shared view about Indo-Pacific architecture and inadequacy of regional institutions.
