Will Not Tolerate Scam In Ayushman Bharat Scheme: Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Due to inaccuracies found in the records of 27 hospitals in the use of Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Madhya Pradesh Premier Shivraj Singh Chouhan warned that scams in the program would not be tolerated, an official said on Friday.
In a suo-motu trial under the program in Madhya Pradesh, health authorities inspected records of 84 hospitals, spread across 12 counties, and found defects in 27 medical facilities associated with the program.

During a review of the health system on Thursday, the prime minister said, "Any scam on Ayushman Bharat Yojna will not be tolerated and those found to be involved in illegal activities should be jailed." Officials were notified during the meeting that any abnormalities had been identified in 27 hospitals and that these facilities were being prosecuted.

Madhya Pradesh Minister of Public Health and Family Welfare Dr Prabhuram Choudhary, National Health Mission (NHM) director Priyanka Das and other senior officials were present at the meeting.

“I will not allow any fraud in the scheme. It is like deceiving patients and the government. Those involved in it (illegal) should be arrested and their other activities should be investigated, ”said Mr Chouhan.

The health department should set up a team to inspect private hospitals and should not be paid for such facilities from the Prime Minister's Assistance Fund, he said.

He also directed that call centers should be operational and monitor patients whether they are hospitalized or not.

The NHM director informed that some hospitals had shown false admissions and had uploaded fake claims to the portal to claim benefits under the scheme.

Authorities have registered FINANCE and appropriate action should be taken in such cases. A program of disrespect for these hospitals has also been launched under the program, adding that there are hospital fines that overpay patients.
